World War II Era Studies Institute — Dedicated to stimulating and fostering the study of the historical, political, social, economic and military aspects of WW II and the war's impact on world history. The goal is to educate the community about the key events of the era, the political and military leaders who waged the war and made peace, and those who served on the battlefield as well as on the home front. 

 

World War II Veterans and Their Families

 

American Veterans Center — The World War II Veterans Committee and its parent organization, the American Veterans Center, support a wide range of programs, including film, television, radio, and publications in an effort to preserve the legacy of the World War II generation for current and future generations. 

 

Surviving U.S. Veterans of WW II — Wikipedia page dedicated to providing information about remaining veterans. 

 

World War II Veterans — Dedicated to helping and remembering the millions of men and women, mothers and fathers, and family members who made the ultimate sacrifice for the good of free people everywhere. It is the longest serving non-profit Veterans website on the Internet, run by Veterans for Veterans.

 

World War II Foundation — The World War II Foundation is one of the nation’s leading non-profit organizations committed to educating future generations about the enormous sacrifices and achievements of sixteen million Americans who served in WWII.

 

 

Jewish War Veterans

 

Jewish War Veterans of the USA — JWV is dedicated to America’s veterans. Through its hospital, rehabilitation, and veterans’ service programs, JWV assists the Veterans’ Service Offices in major cities throughout the country. JWV supports the underprivileged, homeless, and handicapped of our nation through a variety of civic betterment projects, including low-cost, federally subsidized senior citizens housing.

National Center for PTSD — The Center aims to help U.S. veterans and others through research, education, and training on trauma and PTSD.

 

Real Warriors — An initiative launched by the Defense Centers of Excellence for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury (DCoE) to promote the processes of building resilience, facilitating recovery, and supporting reintegration of returning service members, veterans, and their families.

 

Veterans Healing Initiative — Provides sponsorship funding for veterans in need of treatment for substance abuse (SA) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Also raises funds for existing licensed treatment centers across the country that provide evidence-based, best practices, dual diagnosis treatment for SA and PTSD and have developed a dedicated veterans’ treatment track.
